Neorenal® Forte
What should we know about kidney stone disease?
The body eliminates unnecessary byproducts of daily metabolism through urine. When the concentration of dissolved salts in the urine—such as calcium, oxalate, urate, cystine, xanthine, and phosphate—becomes too high, and water intake is too low, these salts begin to precipitate, crystallize, and form kidney stones over time.
As the stone increases in size, it may remain in the kidney or travel down the urinary tract, eventually exiting the body through the urethra. Small stones may pass without symptoms, but larger stones often cause severe pain, known as renal colic.
The pain occurs due to spasms of the urinary tract (ureters) as the stone becomes lodged. As the stone moves, it can injure the urinary tract, making it susceptible to infection. Without timely intervention, a secondary infection may develop, further complicating the condition.
In the event of a kidney stone crisis, seeking immediate medical attention is crucial. A healthcare provider can accurately diagnose the problem and recommend the most effective treatment options.
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly recommended for quick pain relief during an acute renal crisis. Increasing fluid intake and using agents that relax the urinary tract can also help pass the stones more quickly.
To facilitate the stone’s passage through the urinary tract specific supportive urological treatment are often used. These improve kidney function, reduce swelling of the urinary tract mucosa, and contribute to stone elimination.
It’s also crucial that these preparations contain lubricating substances, which help the stone move more smoothly through the urinary tract, minimizing the risk of injury to the mucous membranes.
If an infection is detected in the urinary tract, it is treated with antibiotics based on an antibiogram (a test to determine the most effective antibiotic).
In the best of circumstances, the lodged stone passes on its own, providing immediate relief from pain. With the right therapy, this happens in 60-70% of cases. However, if the stone is larger than 6 mm, additional urological procedures may be necessary to break it into smaller fragments that can pass more easily through the urinary tract.
It’s essential to understand that treatment doesn’t end once the stone is expelled, and the acute pain subsides. Afterward, it’s important to remove any remaining stone fragments, even tiny particles, as they can serve as a nuclei for new stone formation and increase the risk of infection. To prevent this, specific therapies that stimulate diuresis, relax the urinary muscles, and lubricate the tract should be continued for at least three months. Additionally, a high intake of water is essential.
Neorenal® Forte supports the functions of the kidneys and urinary system.
Kidneys: It assists in the natural formation of urine and contributes to the efficient removal of waste products, including uric acid. Its mild effect does not irritate the urinary system or kidneys, and it maintains the body’s water-electrolyte balance.
Urinary Tract: Neorenal® Forte helps maintain urinary tract health by supporting its natural cleansing during urination. It promotes comfort throughout the entire urinary system – including the bladder, ureters, and urethra.
IngredientsNeorenal® Forte contains a powerful combination of clinically proven, natural ingredients that work synergistically:
Birch leaf extract
Known for supporting kidney and urinary tract function, birch leaves have been used in Europe for centuries to promote a healthy urine production-elimination cycle. Studies highlight the high flavonoid content in birch leaf extract, which serves as a natural source of antioxidants.
Betalite®
A next-generation patented formula with biologically active substances that enhance the effects of birch extract, delivering faster, stronger, and more effective results.
Herniaria extract
Herniaria glabra promotes the kidneys’ natural cleansing function and supports the healthy muscle tone of the urinary tract. Its proven benefits make it a key agent in supporting overall kidney health.
Viburnum opulus extract
Viburnum opulus extract is known for maintaining muscle tone in the urinary tract (due to the compound scopoletin). Additionally, it contains citrate and potassium and exerts antioxidant properties which contribute to kidney health.
Elymus extract
Elymus repens is traditionally used to support the health of the kidneys and urinary tract by forming a protective, gel-like layer that reduces friction within the ureter, making it easier to eliminate stones.
