Neolipidra® Forte
What we should know about cholesterol?
holesterol is a type of fat in the blood that comes from two sources: most cholesterol is produced in the liver, while the other source is dietary intake. Total cholesterol in the body comprises of LDL and HDL cholesterol.
LDL cholesterol is often referred to as “bad” cholesterol because it can accumulate on the walls of blood vessels, forming atherosclerotic plaques. Over time, these plaques can grow and narrow the blood vessels, particularly the arteries. This narrowing can hinder or completely block blood flow to vital organs, such as the heart and brain.
Neolipidra® Forte is a biotechnological product derived from the fermentation of the Monascus purpureus yeast on moist rice. The composition of Neolipidra® Forte includes biologically active substances such as 14 different monacolins—HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors along with sterols, isoflavones, mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, saturated fatty acids, and pigments.
IngredientsMonacolins
The main biologically active substances in Neolipidra® Forte are monocollins.
They support liver function and have a beneficial effect on the lipid profile and blood cholesterol levels. The other biologically active substances of the product reinforce the action of the monocolins.
