How is Neolexan® 50 taken?

If your doctor has not recommended otherwise, take Neolexan® 50 1 to 3 tablets per day.
Because some people may experience mild nausea when taking Neolexan® 50 for the first time, it is recommended to start with 1 tablet at bedtime and increase the dose gradually as needed.

Do not stop taking the product once you feel better without consulting your doctor.

Prolonged use of Neolexan® SR does not lead to dependence.

Who should not take Neolexan® 50?

- Children under 12 years of age and pregnant women.
Do not take Neolexan® 50 if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any of the product ingredients. At signs of an allergic reaction, discontinue taking the product.

Tell your doctor if:
Any of the following conditions apply to you:
- Liver failure
- Kidney failure
- Stomach and duodenal ulcer
- Impaired blood clotting
- Breastfeeding
- Down syndrome
Taking any of the following medications:
- Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), such as citalopram (Seropram), escitalopram (Cipralex), fluvoxamine (Fevarin), fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Seroxat, Paroxat), sertraline (Zolof)
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), such as tranylcypromine (Nardil), phenelzine (Parnate), isocarboxazid (Marplan)
- Tricyclic antidepressants, such as amitriptyline (Elavil), amoxapine (Asendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), protriptyline (Vivactil), trimipramine (Surmontil)
- AIDS drugs
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet.

What are the side effects of Neolexan® 50?

Some patients may experience mild nausea at the beginning of the course, which is usually temporary. It can be most easily avoided by starting with a low initial dose of the product and increasing as necessary.
