Aviron Rapid®
What should you know about the flu and acute viral infections?
Influenza is a viral disease affecting the respiratory tract. There are three types of influenza viruses: A, B, and C, all of which cause acute infections of the throat, nose, bronchi, and lungs.
Acute viral infections (AVIs) are caused by over 200 different viruses that primarily affect the respiratory system. These infections generally lead to milder symptoms than influenza.
Both influenza and AVIs are highly contagious and can easily spread through sneezing, coughing, or contact with contaminated hands and objects used by infected individuals.
During the colder months, the body becomes more susceptible to these infections. If not treated promptly, the flu and AVIs can lead to serious complications such as pneumonia, meningitis, and others.
Those most susceptible to contracting influenza and AVIs are children, adults over 65, pregnant women, people with weakened immune systems, and those suffering from chronic diseases.
Antibiotics are ineffective against viral infections like influenza and AVIs. Vaccines also provide only partial protection, as viruses can rapidly mutate and become unpredictable.
The most commonly used medications to treat viral infections and influenza are so-called symptomatic treatments, which affect the symptoms themselves but have no effect on the causative agent of the disease. These include antipiretics, painkillers, different NSAIDs, cough suppressants, antihistamines, and sore throat remedies.
The most effective way to combat the flu or other respiratory viral infections is by using antiviral agents that both eliminate the virus and enhance the immune system.
By addressing the virus directly, symptoms are reduced in duration, and recovery occurs much quicker. These antiviral agents can be used alongside symptomatic treatments.
The broader the spectrum of an efficacious antiviral agent, the more successful it is in resolving a viral infection with unknown causative agent, which in practice represents most common cold episodes during the winter season.
Aviron Rapid® Kids is a potent combination of three clinically proven, natural ingredients that work synergistically to support the body’s immune system. Taken at the first signs of a cold, flu, or other respiratory viral infections, Aviron Rapid® Kids
has a beneficial effect on the health and function of the respiratory system.
Aviron Rapid® Kids contains three main ingredients – humic acid, Proprietary Spirulina extract and Pelargonium extract in their clinically proven dosages to achieve the best efficacy and rapid results.
IngredientsHumic acid
Humic acid is an organic compound obtained in the process of humification – the physical, chemical, and microbiological transformation of decaying plants. Derived from natural compounds found in soil, humic acid is characterized with a loose assembly of aromatic polymers, with varying molecular weights, structural properties, and reactivity.
Proprietary Spirulina Extract
Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a blue-green algae that supports the immune system. Its health benefits are attributed to two key components: phycocyanin, a natural food colorant important for immune cell function, and calcium spirulan, a unique polysaccharide in Spirulina that helps the body fight viruses and other harmful agents.
Studies indicate that Spirulina’s antioxidant properties may also benefit respiratory health. The Spirulina extract in Aviron Rapid® is produced using a patented process, which ensures a higher concentration of beneficial substances that promote good health.
Pelargonium Extract
Pelargonium is a plant that has been used for thousands of years in China, Thailand, and South Africa. Its root extract is renowned for alleviating upper respiratory tract symptoms, particularly coughs and sore throats. Traditionally, it has been used to enhance breathing and combat respiratory infections
